Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the one true God, infinite in perfection and power
almighty Creator and Sustainer of all things,
existing eternally in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
undivided and co-equal, full of love and glory,
who alone is worthy of all worship.

We believe in the unique divine inspiration,
  entire trustworthiness
and supreme authority of the Bible
in all matters of belief and practice.

We believe in the intrinsic value and dignity of all people:
created innocent by God in his image
  for his glory and pleasure
to live in love and holiness,
but alienated from God and each other because of our sin and guilt,
  justly subject to God's wrath,
and therefore in need of reconciliation.

We believe in Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine,
  born of the virgin Mary,
who lived as a perfect example,
who assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in our place
so that all who will accept Him may be saved,
and who was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as Savior and Lord.

We believe in justification by God's grace to all who repent
and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation,
receiving forgiveness and eternal life with God.

We believe in the indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit,
who gives to all believers a new life
  and an assurance of salvation,
and who both calls and equips us
for holy living and obedient service.

We believe in the unity of all believers in Jesus Christ,
visible now as the worshiping and witnessing Church
the active body of Christ with Him at its head,
commissioned to spread the good news of salvation
teaching and making disciples amongst all peoples
  throughout the world.

We believe in the future personal and triumphant return of Jesus Christ in glory,
who will judge all people with justice and mercy,
giving over the unrepentant to eternal separation from God
but receiving the redeemed into eternal life with God.
